China Southern decided to expand its capacity for its Australia-New Zealand Route from December 5th, 2014 to the end of February 2015. The A380 is currently flying the Guangzhou-Sydney night flight CZ325/6. Flights on the Guangzhou-Melbourne route have increased from 10 flights per week to 2 flights daily. Flights on the Guangzhou-Brisbane route have increased from 5 flights per week to daily. Now the transport capacity will be 38 flights per week to Australia, and the number of available seats has increased from 8336 to 11459 per week. In the meantime, the Guangzhou-Auckland route has already witnessed a flight increase from 10 flights per week to 14 since October 2014. At present, China Southern is the biggest carrier in the Australia-New Zealand to China market. Any China Southern Pearl Gold or Silver card holders only need to present their certificate letter for their Gold or Silver card when applying for visas for Australia and New Zealand. The application process will be simplified with no need for either financial documents or an employment verification letter.
